There is no best phone. These days most phones are good. It's all down to what you want and your priorities when buying a phone.

What is most important to you?

    Welcome to Android Central!

I'd say the "best" phone out there will differ from user to user - it's a very subjective matter. I think the "best" phone would be one that meets your needs and one that also fits into your price range.

Haven't you been reading any tech news lately? Either the 1500 dollar iPhone or 1300 Samsung are the ticket..... remember you're never to poor to get in debt for the best phone ;-)

Who cares about rent when you can just buy a $1500 phone?! 🤣

There are two giants in the market, Apple and Samsung. Both have different technology operating systems running there phones like iOS and Android. If the money is not an issue then you can buy any latest mobile of these two companies to get optimal experience. Since i am a android fan from the beginning so i will recommend to go with a phone with android operating system. this will help you get maximum apps from google play store for free, which is relatively cheaper from iPhone. If you are on a budget then there are many cool brands available in the market with the same specs as the flagship phones from these two companies (Samsung, Apple) but on a lighter burden on your pocket. Some of the more successful new comers are Huawei, Xiaomi and Oppo. Since there are a lots of phone models to go between them so i will recommend consulting a smartphone comparison website. I found about these mobile comparison websites through this article revglue(.)com/blog-detail/13-setup-free-uk-mobile-comparison-website although i didn't get the chance to compare my self since i always go for the samsung mobiles which are my favorites. Good luck with your new mobile. oh i forget to mention HTC too although this brand has lost his popularity due to high competition but it is still a good company which is manufacturing some solid phones.

GSM Arena is also a great site to see the specs of a phone at a glance and to get other useful information such as battery endurance ratings and whether or not the phone has water resistance.

Though Samsung and Apple are indeed the tech giants in the mobile world, I feel like there are other (and sometimes, depending on your needs, better) choices out there for you. Some mobile salespersons will try and steer you toward these two brands because they are the most popular and expensive (and they're on commission). I recommend doing research and finding out which phone will best suit your needs before going to a store to buy a product. That way, you'll know what you want and won't be swayed by a potentially biased (as we all are!) sales rep.

There is no one "Best" phone because they all have their ups and downs. However, if we were to rephrase the question as "Which phone is the most complete?" then that would be the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for the following reasons:
    -6.4 inch notchless display
    -Snapdragon 845
    -8GB Ram
    -512 GB Storage option
    -IP 68 Water Resistance
    -Expandable storage
    -Possesses a headphone jack
    -S-Pen with custom mapping button
-Dual cameras with variable aperture and OIS
    -Huge 4000 mAh battery
    -Small bezels
    - 4K Recording at 60FPS on the main camera

The best phone is always the next one you want.

Seriously though, phones are boring anymore, it's a mature technology, most products today get the job done for average users.

    Sound like a Loaded Question.

And I think everybody would have a hard time answering it.

Which operating system are you good with.

What do you know about Smart Phones.

Think people buy one kind of best phone and a year or two later if they can wait.
    Get tired and trade phones.
