The Fourth of July celebrations have come and gone, and I bet we've each got a few fireworks pictures that were snapped with our smart phone that need to be shown off.

I've got a few that I'm quite proud of myself -- some taken with the Nexus 4 and others with the Sony Xperia ZL -- but I'd like to see yours as well.

(a full gallery of 26 shots from the Fourth of July can be found on Google+)

So let's see 'em! Post the best firework shots you snapped on the Fourth.

I was wondering if these would show up around AC somewhere, but I didn't even attempt any on the Galaxy Nexus the other night. :-\ Definitely going to bring whatever smartphone I have at the end of the year down to the Space Needle and see how they turn out.

Let's see some more from people. I'm interested in how different smartphones will show fireworks (by potentially handling ISO and shutter speed differently, etc.).

Those are substantially better than what I imagined fireworks would look like through the lens of a Galaxy Nexus.. maybe I should've tried a few after all.

Can we post videos?

Definitely, though you'll need to upload them somewhere. If you have a Google+ account, you can set up the Auto Backup feature to keep your photos/videos in a private album. From there, you should be able to share and embed the videos. If you just want to upload a select few (as opposed to using the Auto Backup feature), the Google+ app should accommodate that.

I cheat.. I used my Note II for these, with an app for an "attachment" lol

I used DSLRController with my Canon 450D hooked up to my Note II with a USB/OTG cable as the Viewfinder/shutter for some long exposure-bulb shots.. no fancy glass, but should put into perspective that smartphone cameras have made leaps and bounds as far as quality and superb low-light capablility. The video of the fireworks taken with a N4 is super impressive IMO.
