I'm in chromecast offer limbo, any help?

I live in the UK and I was an early bird and bought a US Chromecast before they were available in the UK and it works great and have not had a single issue with it.

However, the US serial number means that I am only eligible for US offers, however I cannot redeem these offers become I'm in the UK.

Any help?

I think if I were in your situation, I would buy a UK one and sell the US one. At least it will offset your purchase a little.
