Anyone Have Two Homes In Their Home?

I'm wondering how things would work if say I had one in my bedroom and another in the living room not too terrible far away. Would they both respond to voice actions simultantously, or are they smart enough to know which one I'm talking to?

My first thought was that it listens so well that I can give it commands in the bedroom from the living room, but that's not really true if I have music or the TV going in the living room...

Yes; they can tell the difference by which one you are closest to.

Would I be able to do things like:

Have them both play the same music simultaneously?

Have music shift from one to the other?

I'm not sure exactly how, but I foresee messiness having 2 chromecasts and 2 Homes...One of each in the bedroom, and one of each in the living room.

They can easily both play the same music simultaneously. Having them shift from one to the next sounds more difficult, I'm not sure that's built in but will try to test it when I get home.

Create an Audio Group, then "ok Google, play <whatever you want to play> on <group name>". So if you want to play Metallica on your audio group BoingBoing, then "Hey Google, play some Metallica on BoingBoing".

Your Audio Group name may be better than BoingBoing.
