Hi Guys

I am a newbie to Android and i have a Nexus One.

Wondering whether to root and install the Froyo FRF50.

If i did this, would I be able to still get the official update from Google, and if phone ever went wrong under warranty, would I be able to unroot the N1 before sending back.

Alternatively, should i just wait until the official Froyo is released.

Thanks

THANK YOU

After doing some more research kind of agree with you, once rooted, bootloader is perm unlocked thus invalidating warranty.

Might just load pdanet for tethering and wait for official froyo, it cant be taht much longer ??

Thursday will be 4 weeks after the announcement. Still a "few" I guess.

The rumored push of a minor tweak to FRF50 suggests they are cleaning up bugs, and that's a good sign.
