Nexus One and BT connection to car

Can the N1 be connected by Bluetooth to my car for telephone and also be used in the car dock for navigation? Can I answer calls like usual using the cars controls? What happens during navigation when a call comes in?

My new N1 will not make a connection with my 2008 Honda Odyssey Touring (Honda HandsFreeLink).

My previous phone - Nokia N95 8GB - links Bluetooth fine, but the N1 and Honda don't even see each other. The N1 and my MacBook do talk OK so I don't think the N1 hardware is broken.

Honda's website says they ought to work together but in practice they do not. The Honda website gives no version information on what was tested.
