Ok, so my main work email is a Yahoo Plus account and I am consistently having issues with improper syncing.

I will get new email notices all the time of previously read emails being marked unread. These emails will sometimes continue to be marked unread over and over for weeks on end.

Has anybody found a workaround? I have tried manual setup, and no I do not wish to forward my emails to my gmail account. Thats not something you should have to do.

This is one of the biggest issues I have with Android right now.

I have the very same problem with my paid Yahoo account. The fact that it doesn't work as expected doesn't necessarily mean the bug is with the Nexus One: it could also be Yahoo not working as expected. I find that I get an error when I sync and then immediately after I check my mailbox in a browser. I need to refresh the page sever times in order to clear the error.

I will test the Mail app with another POP mailbox and see if I get the same errors.

I don't have a paid account, but I know that the free Yahoo accounts will only work when not connected to Wifi. Not sure if this is same for paid accounts, but worth a try.

Yah its a yahoo issue. Really annoying as I really do like Yahoo mail. They really need to figure it out because mobile email is where most people will be reading it.
