Hi,

I can't get my Nexus One to pair with a Sony Ericsson MBR-100 bluetooth device. The MBR-100 shows up on the Nexus One bluetooth device list. I make the Nexus One Discoverable and then try to pair with the MBR-100. In less than 2 seconds I get the "Pairing rejected by MBR-100" message.

Any one have any luck with this combination? Any suggestions?

Thanks, PLA

Hi,

You probably solved your problem by now or decided to get rid of the mbr-100. Anyway, pairing was rejected because the device was not in pairing mode. You must first make sure the mbr-100 is off. Press the button for 2 seconds and release. The light on the device should be off, not blinking. After that, press the button once again for 5 seconds this time. The mbr-100 should start blinking green - red - green - red, you get the point.

Now the mbr-100 is on pairing mode. You also need to make sure that the bluetooth is on in your phone and the it is in discoverable mode and visible. You might get prompt on your phone to enter a password, I believe it is "0000".

Good luck.
