One of our VP's just got a Nexus 10 running 4.2.2 and in setting it up to access the network from the outside and setting up his mail on it I am running into one issue.

When connected to one of our internal WAP's inside the office he is unable to browse any internal sites by name and can only get to them by IP.

In looking at the Wi-Fi settings there is no where in the setup or under advanced to enter and specific DNS information for one of our DNS servers or enter our domain name.

In the iOS devices the Wi-Fi adapter grabs all this information automatically when connecting to the same AP's and those devices can browse internal sites by name.

In Android 4.0+ it tells you the steps should be

    Settings
WiFi (click on word "WiFi", not ON/OFF switch)
Press and hold (long tap) your wireless network until dialog pops up
    Select "Modify Network"
Check "Show advanced options" checkbox at the bottom
    Switch "IP settings" to "Static"
Fill in your local network static IP details and DNS server details
    Tap "Save"

When I go that route the only thing under Static IP is to enter proxy information and we do not use a proxy server in our environment. There are no fields for DNS server details.

Is there something I'm missing or could do to enter DNS information into the Wi-Fi settings on the Nexus 10 as I don't see anywhere this can be done and without it he's going to have to hit everything by IP address while inside the network.
