Games (like Asphalt 7) need "long press" on buttons

I've only noticed this when I play Asphalt 7 or when my son plays Jurassic Park, you have to long press buttons for them to work. My wife and I play Candy Crush just fine without this issue, and no other app does this. I loaded Jurassic Park on my phone (Moto Razr M) and it can be played just fine (I haven't tried Asphalt 7 yet on my phone ). Anyone have any ideas if this is a common issue, or ways to change it?

I have no problem of this on my Galaxy tab, so it must be a slight problem with the game not optimized for the Nexus 10 very well. If this is the case, maybe you should report it to the game developers for a fix.
