New Google Nexus 10 - No update received yet & pop up issue

Hello,

I just purchased a refurbished Nexus 10 and I've had it on most of the day. I still haven't received an OTA update notification for anything above 4.2 which it was shipped with. Not sure if I just need to wait for it to come in, or if something is wrong?

Also, I had to uninstall the Google Play store and Google Play Services updates that it was shipped with as I kept getting popups saying these have stopped working - no idea how this happens on a fresh 4.2 install. Any input on this? Will this go away whenever the new update comes through? Thank you!

Welcome to Android Central! Do you know if the device is rooted, with a custom ROM installed? Run Root Checker.
