This morning I called T-Mobile's Business line and ordered Google Nexus 4 16gig for $150. If you go on T-Mo's website and search for the phone, it is listed for $200, but if you call, you get a $50 corporate discount (plus no activation fee). Of course both services come with 2yr contract, but even if you pay the $200 for Early Termination Fee (and presumably go for the inexpensive unlimited service providers), total comes to Google Play Store's own $350 for the 16gig Nexus 4. The phone should be delivered by Monday or Tuesday. Hope this info is helpful for those of you trying to get the phone.

I had placed the order online, but the process wasn't complete. The website generated an order number and a phone number to call. I called that number, gave the order # but when I mentioned I work for the Federal Government (there are a ton of corporations and organizations that get T-Mo special rates, google it) and I'd like to get the discounts on my monthly plan, the guy transferred the call to a Business Line specialist (there was a good wait for it in the morning). The business line specialist then basically reconstructed my entire order, and told me that there's a $50 discount for Nexus 4. BTW, he only asked for some kind of ID number to qualify me for the discount -- I gave him my building access badge number, so you don't really need to substantiate your claim that you work for a corporation or an organization with any meaningful evidence. I should be receiving the phone on Mon-Tue (I'd requested expedited shipping, without which it may have taken a couple more days).

My recommendation would be to just directly call their business line, 1-888-537-4242, and order through them.

Hope this helps.

When you called did you have to give any special number

Mine was backordered too, but they should be shipping Mon or Tuesday. Google Play Store is backordered for a couple of weeks, according to reports.

Was about to order came up to 110 but the guy said backordered so I pulled out.

You probably misunderstood. T-Mobile also has it on backorder -- my order was with T-Mobile (as this entire thread is about), and with expedited shipping, I was told my phone should get to me by Tuesday the latest (without expedited, the representative said by next Thu-Fri.)
If you were backordered...no way your getting it shipped monday or tue...3 weeks if lucky.

As I posted in the other thread, though you are legitimately entitled to a government discount (since you work for an agency, you should be able to determine what discount you're granted), recommending others to BS their way through this using falsified information is IMHO questionable. Encouraging others to commit fraud does neither you, this forum, or the poor sap who tries this any good.

Cancelling the contract after the 30-day commitment period is only going to raise more flags. I won't be around to say "I told you so" if they come after you (legally and persistently) for additional penalties,[1] so I'll say it now.

[1] Which could be really uncomfortable for someone claiming the discount under false pretenses.

I work for CSX Transportation railroad. My company has its own website with discounts on every phone carrier, plans, hardware, etc. Also vehicles from many manufacturers and many other discounts. I ordered mine legitimately this way. I can understand other people trying to use this method to see if they can get a deal but there are people out there whose company may provide a corporate discount.
