I have a friend that would like to get an N4, once they come back to the store, and was wondering if it would work on these bands (AWS, with bands 1700/2100).

Based on the supported frequencies from https://play.google.com/store/device...id=nexus_4_8gb. I think it will.

    Unlocked GSM/UMTS/HSPA+
    GSM/EDGE/GPRS (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
    3G (850, 900, 1700, 1900, 2100 MHz)
    HSPA+ 42
