Ordered November 27 @ 4:17PM CST, received order confirmation email.
Received shipping email November 30 @ 3:05AM CST.
Yellow box from that point until now. (Going on 5 days, 3 bus. days.)
Charged on November 30. Transaction posted December 3.
UPS says they don't have it in their possession. Google says call UPS.

This is getting old.

I believe that whatever someone said about Google using a weird branch of UPS to ship their devices is the label thing is happening, because when I checked my old Nexus 7 order, and looked at the shipment progress for tracking, there is only 2 steps: The Billing info recieved (which has happened if you have a tracking #) and then Delivery second, so I will hold my horses on complaining to Google for another day or so. Really, really bugs me that I am unable to track it though.

I can confirm this as well. Same behavior happened with my Nexus 7 at launch. It sat on the "label processed" status until it was delivered. I went back and looked at the tracking and it only ever had those two steps and was delivered at the expected time. So hopefully I should have my Nexus 4 today.

I got an email from UPS that I would have a package delivered today from Google.

I received the message last Friday that the phone was shipped..

They are going out...

Did yours ship on thursday or friday? I noticed that on my google play page it says the 30th while the UPS site says the 29th.

LOL

I try to avoid this thread as much as possible because everyone seems to be upset that their phone wasn't in their hands 5 minutes after they clicked "submit"

It's fun to track your device and wonder when it will be arriving, but damn some of you are so bad with "Demanding answers!" that I can only image you look like this guy right about now

What transpired over the past 12 hours:

I called UPS last night and who, in turn, said I should contact Google. I contacted Google who, in so many ways, asked that I contact them (Google) again when UPS was open. I called Google this AM who, while I was on the line, contacted UPS; subsequently, the Google representative told me that it was out of their hands so an email was sent to a Google Shipping Specialist. I asked how long I might anticipate hearing hearing from Google, i.e., in the latter scenario, to which the Google representative said they are required to respond within 24 hours.

I don't mind a reasonable delay. What I do rather mind is getting jerked around with false information from Google. Email says "It's shipped!" when it hasn't. UPS tracking saying "it will arrive today!", when it won't. A second tracking number sent me with no notification of wth happened with the first. (Not to mention the whole "it's in your cart! - psych! no it ain't!" fiasco back on ordering day(s).)

The original tracking number still says that I should expect the package to be delivered... yesterday. (Must be related to the new "Time Machine" app that I've heard is a part of Android 4.2.42.90210.) That package says it was shipped/billed on 11/29.

New tracking number says it was shipped/billed on 12/2, and that it should arrive today. We'll see, Google. We'll see. Not getting my hopes up, as Google's broken my heart before.

If I had head nothing from Google besides the original "ships in 1-2 weeks" that they said when the order (finally) went through, and then the UPS notification over last night that it would arrive today (assuming that it actually does), then I would have zero complaint. Just tell me the truth, Google-people and we're all cool.

So WEIRD!!! I just looked at my bank account. I was charged (again but only once) sometime yesterday, late. My charge is now on for Dec 3rd, I guess that means I get the device tomorrow?! ....Not sure how to interpret this information. My google wallet never updated, still have the original charge on 11/30. My UPS tracking is still in limbo. Total disarray.

same thing just happened to me...

Was reading this tread and had to add my 2c. Ordered at 3.03pm amex charged on the 27th (charge never disappear or reappear)and in the same boat as all of you. Playing the waiting game. Been Apple user for years,Blackberry before that and this will be my first Android so I am excited but not to the point to call UPS yet. We got charged 2 days shipping and I am sure after UPS has it in their hands it will take them up to 2 days to deliver.

Who did you receive the second tracking number from, UPS or Google?

Nope, not yet. I have had an "Order Processed: Ready for UPS" message since the weekend. It says it was supposed to be delivered yesterday and still says the scheduled delivery is yesterday.

its because google intends on using a time machine so they can deliver your package yesterday. they know exactly what the hell they are doing. NOT. btw my ups says exact same as yours.

Wulp UPS came today. Knock on the door.. the perfect sized package! I clutch it and run into my living room with glee. I'm prepared to tear open this wonderful brown package like a kid on Christmas. Then, I notice that it's from William Sonoma.

Thus I'm in the limbo with a shipping confirmation Friday and a package tracking # that still has no info with a delivery estimate of yesterday. I really don't care that much when I get it as long as it's soon, but this cluster f*** is just a huge tease.

Charge has gone through, no longer pending. Package Tracker says it could be here today. Won't get my hopes up with no other info from UPS.

Ordered on 27th with 1-2 week delivery. Received email on the 30th at 3am with tracking info. Still yellow label on UPS with no update. Google Wallet shows that I've been charged and it shipped as of 11/30. Haven't seen a charge for the amount until 12/3 and it's processed. I noticed that UPS at least shows an expected delivery date but not for me, and I signed up for MyChoice.

Just another case to read about. Now that I've been charged I do expect it to be in my hands in 2 days for that shipping charge, but I'm not upset at this point.
