Does anyone know how I can see what frequency band I am using on my Nexus 4? I am using ST with T-Mobile sim card. I know I was on the 1700 band, but Tmo recently deployed to 1900 in my market and I wanted to confirm. Thanks!

No, it won't tell him what band he is on. From my research, there I'd no eat way to do this in stock Android jelly bean.

I've downloaded all of them almost and just states what type of signal its currently using...i.e. Edge, HSPA, CDMA, etc...

From what i know your phone will use the best band available so if the 1900mhz frequency gives you better coverage it would use that..
