You can have it for both. The missed call won't know the difference.

You can set it up to handle both I believe.
Nobody has my carrier # so not 100% but I believe so.
Should be in the GV settings.

You can even have customized messages for known callers. I'd have to see if you can customize for three number that forwarded the call or not.

So under settings I need to set up Google Voice as my voice mail for main # you mean?

Are there any visual voice mails that let you use it on that device only? I am happy with my note 2 vvm but want it on my N4. I do NOT want to use Google voice and YouMail changes the VM on my note 2.

These threads always end with people pushing Google voice and I do not want that. I just want a simple, visual voice mail on my phone without a complicated voice mail service.

Anyone know of anything like that?

The best is a paid service where they have actual real people converting it to text... and it's spendy.

Phone.com has a paid service I've never tried, but I can't imagine it any better than Google Voice - can't beat free with the power of google behind it to develop it for the indefinite future.

Edit: ooops, I was referring to voice to text services.

Thanks for this. It appears to change the carrier voice mail system. Maybe what I want does not exist. I use att visual voicemail on my note 2 but it does not work on my nexus 4 so I want something device specific.
