Got my nexus with original launch day batch and battery life was never great but getting consistently worse. Android battery in Screenshot_2013-04-22-17-02-55.pngScreenshot_2013-04-22-17-03-36.pngsystem menu says the battery is ok. Any ideas? Was not on WiFi for any of it till pics but 3+ bars on T-Mobile +21 area.

Seems about normal. I'm also on T-Mobile and only get between 2.5-3 hours screen on time when on their HSDPA network. With your screen shot looks like you would be around 2.75 hours or so by the time your phone was dead.

Sometimes apps get out of control and you need to force quit them or restart your phone. With that said, you look to be getting pretty good battery life there. 16 hours and still over 50% is a lot better than most have. Were you using maps at all?

Nope. Not at all...that's really weird ive never seen that before. I restarted my phone a couple of times in the morning and its still number 1 one my list. It eats more than screen. The problem is that android will only monitor battery usage for each up since 100% the list wont reset even if you charge it to 99%.

Well just charged up to 100 and with 5 mins screen time it was at 91% after 55 mins. A lot worse than when I got it. I was averaging 14-16 hours with 4 hours screen and an hour of talk with probly 50% WiFi. Idk, just seems much worse than it used to be and its horrible.

Really? I've spent some time reading through the N4 battery optimization threads here and I don't think this seems normal, it seems pretty poor to me.

OP, my stats are close to what you were getting previously. Been that way for a couple of months (hope nothing changes!). Good luck, you should be able to do better IMO. Maybe it's a hardware issue. Please report back.

Stats seem pretty okay to me..
Remember mobile data will always drain battery considerably more than wifi.
Check your syncing and only sync things you use
Dont use battery saving apps, for some people they do seem to work but they can drain more battery than save.
You might have something keeping your phone awake in the background so download wakelock detector to check if any apps are keeping your phone awake.

What's that "media server" you're running? Looks like a battery killer to me....

Mine has been this way since day one. Most of my previous phones (RAZR,note,gs2) I'd get about 2-2.5 hours screen on time on 3g.

Hmmm, okay. Well, here are a couple of screenshots from mine after getting home today. As you can see, about halfway through the battery with 2.5 hours screen time (at least I believe that's what these numbers mean! I'm not an expert so correct me if I'm wrong).

Maybe I have everything shut off or something.

Ok I see. The thing is, I just walked in the door and I unplugged my phone 5 minutes before I left the house this afternoon. However, I may have been in a WiFi zone in one of my client's homes, where I have connected before. Still, I would say at least 80% of that time was on 3G.
