Hey All, it's my 1st post on androidcentral and I've made the switch to a Nexus 4 due to the sweet T-Mobile online deal! (It arrives Wednesday) And I was wondering if anyone could point me towards certain apps (google and/or 3rd party) that could mimic the BlackBerry experience on the Nexus 4...I do have a rooted TouchPad but I know the tablet/smartphone experience can differ at times, and many of the native BB apps function when not connected to a network since I have the lowest of the low data plan and I want to keep my data consumption in check.
so here's the list:
Thanks!
so here's the list:
- LED notifications
- are there apps/widgets that aggregates all email/sms/mms/messaging into one location? (like the BlackBerry Hub)
- a great memo & task app (like BlackBerry Remember app)
- a great twitter client
- a great podcast app
- ability to access/lock/wipe/locate/send message to device remotely (similar to BlackBerry protect)
- an app similar to BlackBerry Travel
- a secure password keeper app
- a flash compatible browser...(i do plan on installing Opera too for when i'm off wifi)
- should i install AVG on the nexus 4? i dont plan on rooting it (i have avast for my TouchPad since its rooted)
- good music player with EQs (although i dont plan on putting a significant amount of music in it since im keeping the 9310 w/ a 32gb card as a music player)
- good camera app (i read the stock is so-so but i could be wrong)
- and I can't wait for BBM to come to android!
Thanks!
