Why didn't any of you tell me that I could bundle App icons together in folders on the quick launch bar? How is this secret being hidden from the masses? Who's in on this conspiracy to deprive me?

Well look, I found out:

You weren't told because you hadn't paid the appropriate fees to the:
Bilateral, Apps in Folders on the Quick Launch Bar, Committee.
Better known by the easy to remember acronym, BAIFOTQLBC.

Since you foolishly confessed to using this procedure with out proper recompense to the, BAIFOTQLBC.
And since you exposed this well kept secret of the BAIFOTQLBC to the unwashed masses of Android users.

You can expect a visit from the BAIFOTQLBC goon squad.

I'm told the punishment is quite severe, Cake, or Death.

(With thanks to Eddie Izzard, I was able to use Cake or Death, in a tech forum)

I used to use these all the time, now I just have everything sorted in folders in the App Drawer instead. :) Regardless, it's very helpful.

You didn't put the phone in airplane mode, throw it into the air at a 45 degree angle and watch it transform into a small replica F-35 Lightning II and fly away.

You also didn't try to find the phone after it took off and give up to return to your home only to find your phone on your kitchen counter turned on with the aforementioned folders in the quick launch bar.

Sorry I learnt from a screen shot.
I tried the aeroplane mode..mine turned into the new super hornet and disengaged local planes onboard systems.

Let me share a secret with you. You can use your smartphone for porn. You no longer have to carry that Victoria's Secret catalog whatever you go.

First - It's not a secret. Secondly... Victoria's Secret Catalog??? Don't let mommy catch you stealing her mail - you'll be grounded off your phone for a month. :p

It's merely a conscious choice. You choose whether to bring one with you or not. (Either way, who brings hard copies of magazines when you can view then on your smartphone nowadays?)

I was referring to artlu629's off topic non-sequitur. I'm sure that at his age finding porn is a major deal, but it has nothing to do with this thread.

This conversation has gone about as far as it needs to. It was allowed to continue because of the easy humor that was involved, but now that it is starting to escalate, lets try to reign it back into the original topic. Thanks.

I guess I'm weird in that I prefer my dock icons to be specific apps and not groups. I just stick those on one of the home screens, generally in some order than I've used since my Evo. But I can see how this could be useful if you regularly access a lot of apps and like minimal clutter.
