Your original post didn't say what calibration. I had assumed touch calibration due to the other part of your inquiry. Now I realize you meant color/tint.

I ran it briefly and then flashed back to my nand backup. I wasn't happy that the mods I have on 4.2.2 didn't work on 4.3. I did notice colors were a bit more vibrant, less washed out.

This sounds promising. Hopefully the newer 4.3 build will have better saturation.

It's not much. It would still be better to root and install a custom kernel if you want to tweak to your liking.

I used to have Franco kernel installed however,I care about getting the 4.3 update so I'm on stock and it looks so ugly right now comparatively.
