However, they are now full on competing with Nokia, HTC, Moto, LG, Sony, Google & everybody's favorite - Samsung, not to mention the other Korean and Chinese handset makers.
And they are lagging on innovation, whether you like the features or not - they are advancing the tech. NFC, Air touch/gesture control, knock knock, twist to use camera, always on voice, 1080p, bigger screens, front facing stereo speakers, built in fitness tracker. SIRI has been a failure, and Apple's cloud services are lagging and proprietary.
I think we should all use what we prefer and Apple makes great hardware and software, but it is not innovative. Apple is left with the customer service/retail store edge, and the app edge. They need a big product, we'll see.
