Here's the actual source link: Google Nexus phones vulnerable to denial-of-service attack via SMS | PCWorld

    And here's an important graf:

Alecu found that when a large number of Flash messages—around 30—are received and are not dismissed, the Nexus devices act in unusual ways.
So try not to get 30 SMS messages before checking your phone.

(ie, this is a pretty specific bug. Needs to be fixed, sure. But the sky's not falling. At all.)

The same guy that made the Class0firewall app also sells an app to send it, convenient. I'll give it a test, but it needs 4.3 running Xposed Framework it seems.

That's why it would be called a denial of service "attack." The sky is not falling, but that is a major bug. Big enough that I would hope Google will be pushing a patch in the next few days.
