Help with transfering pictures

OK I need help transferring pictures from my nexus 4 to my computer. I hate having to email them all to myself because it takes forever. But I hate clogging up my phone with so many pictures. Please help

You can also connect the charging cable that came with the phone to the computers USB port.

I do as suggested above, connect the charging cable to my PC then fire up Picasa. You can then "import" from your phone into Picasa.

One issue I have with the Nexus 4 is that for some reason the photos don't appear in chronological order in Picasa, like the photos from every other camera does...

It's an extra step but what I do now is connect the nexus via the cable, run Windows Explorer and drag all the photos onto an SD chip, then fire up Picasa and move the photos, now in chronological order, onto the PC...

I would also suggest using a method (preferably wireless) to transfer to the computer. In the future, you might want to have photos automatically backup to a service.
