I have had my nexus 4 for six months and consider myself to be an expert android user. I noticed that I do not get any notifications for either: voicemail, or missed called while the phone is powered off. I have voicemail set up and can dial 1 on my phone to access it. I do not even get the notification when I reboot the phone as some people have mentioned on other forums (their problem was attributed to a firmware issue )
I'm wondering if anybody on virgin Canada prepaid can tell me if they do get these notifications. I just transitioned from a CDMA slider phone to the nexus 4 with a new Sim card the carrier gave me so I winder if they may have to reset the type of voicemail I am using in their system?
