Yesterday I dropped my Nexus 4, shattering the front screen. I can no longer use it since I can't access anything, however, I would like to delete or reformat my Nexus 4, is it possible?

Not If you don't have access to the devices screen to input certain options. If you have setup the Android Locator service with Google then you may be able to wipe it that way. But that's only if the service was setup prior to the damage.

You can do it through the phones recovery mode or through the command line while connected to a computer. Can you still see anything on the screen or is it completely trashed?
