    hi guys need help , just realised that I had a nexus 4 , lying around had forgotten.

    Its going in a boot loop, have done couple of times re-installing the factory image the original 4.1, however the movement it would go into upgrade to higher then 4.1 it wouldn't start and thats where it would be always.

    now i want to get this corrected, so need some intense help please.

    Welcome to the forums. Have you tried flashing a custom ROM to it instead of the stock one?

    Thank you . no havent tried custom rom, please. should i ,what could be the potential issue. and which ones should i pick up , custom rom.?

    Sorry for the late reply. You should be able to try just about any custom ROM as long as it's for your device.

    Flashing instructions can be found on You Tube. I will try to remember to find a good video later.

    General steps to flash a ROM:

    Once you find your files, just follow the steps in the second video after completing the PC setup in the first.
