16GB black starts at $349.
Price point, 1 of the 2 size options and name confirmed by Google, multiple colors (probably white) inferred and we know 8GB doesn't exist. Hopefully the rumor with the 3000MAh battery in a 32GB for $100 more is true, that's be $449 and WELL worth it IMO.
I will pay up $600 dollars if that's what it take because I have passed on every nexus phone to date because of one reason or another. I would finally like to have Nexus phone because I love my 2012 Nexus 7 since day one. Unfortunately I don't want to settle for a phone that won't last me a full day.(Though Nexus 5 might be hardest one to pass up)

Moto X goes past a full day witha much smaller battery, assuming the 3k battery is real that should easily be 36-48 hours with it's processor unless that screen is too much of a drain... but LG did great on their G2, so this should see better life than that. If the 3k doesn't happen I wouldn't expect more than 20-30 hours out of it with normal techy use. All guestimates until I play with it.
Nexus 5 makes a brief appearance on Google Play, listed at $349 | Android Central

The Moto X and G2 are two different animals. Though Moto X and Nexus 5 will have 2300 mah battery doesn't mean same battery life. True it's all guess at this point but if Nexus 5 was made by Motorola with 2300mah then I would be more optimistic. Lg has done a great job with battery life in both variants of the LG G2 (2610mah and 3000mah versions) but I am not seeing much they can do with 2300mah
I hoping android 4.4 has a power saving mode.

I cannot wait to buy this phone. I would love it if it comes in the 3000mah variant, but will it happen? I think it's not going to happen mainly because it was not passed by the FCC when the 2300 mah version was. If it does come out with a 32GB 3000 at a $400-$450 price it is a guaranteed insta buy. Even if it comes out in 2300mah I am buying without a doubt. If they optimize like the moto X this phone could be phenomenal device. Sure it's a LG device but Motorola Mobilty being owned my google it could happen.
3000 mah seems like a bit of an overkill for the nexus 5.
