Didn't realize my keyboard was dirty until I took this pic.

HDR On.

I'm just blown away by the sharpness of this camera. My deck installer just left. Next comes the staining. 4.4.2 was just installed yesterday. HDR+

Can anyone comment on the speed of the camera, ie from one picture to the next and how it compares to the iPhone.

Honestly the nexus shutter speed can't compare to that of the iPhone. That's the only thing I really miss about the iPhone

tried to take pictures outside of the dog while it was lightly snowing out. complete and utter fail, even with 4.4.2. it seems like for "still" pictures though it works fine

If you're not getting great images with this camera, you need to practice more...it's awesome!

I shot this in HDR, then processed it on my phone in Snapseed.

Not thrilled with the new update but this is a great camera overall. A faster lens would have been a wiser choice but hey, it works.

I think you mean shutter lag? The time from pressing the shutter button to the time the shutter activates. I agree that it was really bad. With the 4.4.2 update the lag difference has been cut to only 0.5 sec. (1/2 second)

Taken about an hour and a half ago. The outside of San Jose international airport from an adjacent bike trail. Both with Google's enhancements, but without HDR. The first one is a panorama Auto awesome created from 3 photos, and the second is merely enhanced.

That looks so cool. The panorama shows the whole curve of the building. The detail is excellent.

Thanks. I'm also interested in the speed from the time the shutter activates to the time I can press the button again and take another picture. My iPhone is very fast and I can bang out shot after shot immediately if it doesn't have to refocus.

I took pictures as fast as i could, and although not immediate it's very fast, with a very slight lag. I was using the volume button as the shutter release.
