Re: Nexus 5 Problems and Issues list.
I have had the Nexus 5 for 6 days now, so I have had a good amount of time to go through pretty much everything on it. I have only run into a few things, all of them I would consider 2 of them to be semi major issues.
1.) (The semi major issue) As many have already said, the volume for ring tones, notifications, and listening to videos at max is not very loud or good quality. I would say max volume is maybe 60% volume of what my iPhone 4S was. As switching to Android first time, that was a little disappointing but glad it seems to be software issue so that it can be fixed soon.
2.) (Semi major issue) Shutter speed on the camera is pretty slow. Takes about 2 seconds to take a picture once clicking the blue dot on the bottom.
3.) Google play updates (when set to prompt instead of automatic updates), does not prompt to download available updates except right after restarting the phone.
4.) LED light blinks for emails and hang outs messages. But I tested it from a missed call and it does not blink for a missed call. It also does not blink for Kik messages despite the Kik settings being set to white LED light. However the LED light not blinking for Kik is likely an issue with their app that they just need to update to support Android 4.4 and Nexus 5.
5.) My Twitter notifications vibrate even though I have vibrate ringing in my Android sound settings turned off. I check settings in Twitter and saw no vibrate setting in there. If anyone else has experienced this or knows how to make it stop, then please let me know. Also strange that it blinks green LED for Twitter notifications when all my stock apps blink white, and I also do not see a LED setting in the Twitter app.
So far those are the only issues I have experienced, and luckily I think they are all things that could possibly be fixed with Android 4.4.1 or updates from the apps I experienced some things with. Fingers crossed.
