Initial setup seems different this time.............

Ok, finally got my Nexus 5 yesterday and 2 things hit me right away. First, the device never asked me for my gmail account like every other Android device I have set up. I had to add the account myself in settings/accounts after I went through all of the screens. That in and of itself was not really a big deal. What is a big deal is I was never offered the opportunity re-download all of my apps that are currently on my Galaxy Nexus. It looks like I will have to add them one at a time which also sounds like it means no backed up app data. My Galaxy Nexus is set up to auto backup so the info is out there somewhere. Anyone else have this problem? Am I missing a screen somewhere that will let me restore everything that is currently on my Galaxy Nexus?

You may be right. Looks like factory reset for me tonight.

Yeah it definitely did both those things for me.

A factory reset and all is well now. I can't imagine how I missed those screens!
