shortcuts

hello all

i am very new to android and got my nexus 5 after years of iphone

i have a problem with shortcuts. in iOS the shortcuts don't move unless i long press and release them. in nexus they seem to move more readily. is there any fix as i seem to move my app shortcuts to different parts of the screen all the time

any help would be appreciated

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Accessibility>Touch & hold delay (it's at the bottom of the menu), and change the delay to Medium or Long.

You could also try a launcher like nova or apex and then lock the desktop.
