4.4.3 OTA received and Installed: Microphone Fails! Anybody Else?

Hi all,
Delighted to get the ota so quickly, but then the microphone failed.

Will only work with dialler when set to speakerphone. Dead in all(?) other apps (I've tried it with), including the camera. I have factory reset as well.

Was working fine on 4.4.2, though I haven't and don't really want to downgrade.

Anybody else in the same boat?

if all else fails i'd try a hard reset back to factory fresh state. good luck.

There shouldn't be any affect on the microphone as a result of the update. It could be coincidence that there is a hardware issue which occurred at the same time you received the update or around the same time.

I agree. After switching back from Dalvik to ART, the mic is now working with video, but still not the dialler, except on speakerphone.

Just a quick update:

Contacted Google, and had a replacement phone in 3 days, agreeing that the mic problem was a hardware failure.
