Google will push the newest version OTA. However, if you rooted and made changes to the system files, you may not be able to apply the OTA as it is, without reverting back to the original system files. There are several options/scenarios, but net-net, you can always install the latest update by flashing the right files.

I need to root my device to add mods, and I afraid that they will stop sending me the update OTA! what do advice me to do?

I used towelroot on my G3. Seemed too easy to be real. That said, search online, as some caveats have been raised w/this method, as well.

And as mentioned, a greater understanding of the process can only help.

At least get comfortable w/ADB, imo. It's only harder to sort out when you're stressed cuz ur phone is boot-looping, just sayin'.

If you use that and make no other changes, the ota should install. You'll likely loose root and will need to re-root. At that point, towel root may or may not be compatible w/the upgrade, but you can always use a different method.
