How to set up my homepage with Nexus 5

Hi all,

Can I set my phone to always open Google search page each time i open Firefox ?
It wants to show me the last page viewed. I would like it to offer a clean blank Google screen with blank address bar ready for typing a search !!

Not averse to using Google instead of Firefox if that helps.

Probably more questions to fo;;ow !!!

Welcome to Android Central! For many browsers, setting a homepage is only really noticeable when you open a new tab, since a home button is lacking on these browsers. I'm not familiar with Firefox, so I can't say for sure about that browser. You could try Dolphin Browser or Maxthon Browser, which do have home buttons.
