    Go to settings, accessibility and turn off "high contrast text".

    It works to my Xiaomi Redmi 3x. Android 6.0.1.
    Settings >Additional Settings> Accessibility >High contrast text = turn off.

    Thx. I had the same problem with my new Honor 8 pro. The fonts changed by itself to outline ugly stuff. Your solution was tops. Thx.
