my new nexus 5

My new 5 has updated to 4.4.4 but not to lollipop yet .how long should
It take? Also I thought all the apps from my old nexus 4 would automatically load onto the new nexus 5. Some have but most haven't. Was I mistaken?

its because google pulled the software update because of all the bugs and chaoses it was causing on phones and before even more devices got updated with problems they removed the update until they release a software update which takes care of most of the bugs. you wont see the update until google thinks that they have a update which is ready to be released. you can always manually update it which is a complicated process you can always youtube or google. just be patient. all nexus devices will be getting the OTA update before other devices. About the apps I'm not to sure it has sometimes downloaded it for me sometimes hasnt. Just go to play store>my apps>all and you can just download ur apps with one click
