error reading Sim card?

Nexus 5, unlocked boot loader, no root, vanilla 5.0.1 flashed via fastboot using factory images from google.

In the last week or so, my phone has been randomly losing my Sim card. It'll sit wit no Sim card inserted, emergency calls only displayed for a little bit, then back to normal. Seems to be "fixed" by rebooting or letting it sit for 1/2 hour or so. Haven't tried airplane mode yet. Anyone else experience this issue? If so, what ended up being the problem. I'm in warranty till July, so at least there is that.

First thing to try is bringing it to your carrier and seeing if they'll replace the SIM.

New Sim is in the mail. Its sporadic but been happening more frequently over the last few days...
