Have flashed mine weeks ago by SDK. I flashed the LMY47I version since google doesn't specifies if it is worldwide version. For 2 weeks that I have it I have seen better battery performance, all radio working fine. So for Greece it's OK so I believe for Europe it's the same..

Installed V471. Smooth install, about 20 minutes for 175 apps.
I did not wipe cache.

So far - a much better experience!
1. Swiping is much faster & smoother.
2. Recent card browsing is very fast.
3. Batt life much better. Lost 4% overnight (Airplane mode ON, WiFi ON)
4. Apps start faster.
5. Airplane mode off - AND unless it is todays weather - I have improved cell signal by 1-2 bars! Hope this holds true.
I am in a near dead zone.
6. Batt stats show little usage trying to maintain cell signal! Improvement here!
7. Now after 8 hours on battery, testing cell signal, I have 1 day 8 hours - 79% remaining.

Thank You Google

Started to get a bit laggy every now and again. Sometimes my nexus 5 has a bit of a meltdown and lags and freezes for a few seconds.

I have cleared the cache via settings \storage bit it's still not as good as it was.

Any suggestions?

I have much the same experience with LMY471, installed on Good Friday (it was good, thank you Google!). I even got three days out of the battery which includes d/l and installing 5.1 and a cache partition wipe.

But for me sadly no improvement in phone signal though. I'm with Telstra Australia whose signal coverage is excellent most places, even 4GX available in the larger cities' CBD... but in my street it sucks (it's hilly and heavily treed).

Apart from 5 and 6 I can confirm most of what you said myself. So far touch wood the update has been amazing from the laggy 5.0

Finally got 5.1 (LMY471) OTA today.

Did anyone do a factory reset, or will a system partition wipe be enough? :-X

Edit: Executed partition wipe. Phone was stuck on "repartitioning cache" for about 20 mins but it eventually completed the wipe and everything is good.
