best upgrade from Nexus 5 with small form factor?

i have owned my Nexus 5 since March 2014. generally happy with it, but poor battery life has become a big problem, and, to a lesser extent, slow performance. a better camera would be nice too. thus i am shopping for an unlocked phone that will work on Sprint. a few models such as the OnePlus 2, Moto X Pure, and Axon all look promising... BUT i like the Nexus 5 form factor, and really don't want anything larger. what are my best options if i want significantly better battery life and more processing power/memory? am i stuck buying a phone with 5.5" screen or larger?

I don't know if either of these will work on Sprint, but the Moto X Pure (2015) and the 2015 Moto G are smaller than 5.5" I think. I don't know if the cameras are better though. I'd tend to think not.

I do not give my phone charging overnight I had excellent battery compared to the galaxy 3 the go keep by this much better as far as I'm concerned
