Selecting radio band crashes

I don't know if anyone can help with this, but my nexus 5 is giving me no service with a valid sim and valid apn. When I go into the *#*#4636#*#* and try to select radio band from the menu, the process crashes. I had downgraded to 4.4.2 to try and get it working but have not been able to.

What carrier are you trying to use? I would caution with assigning another band as that could cause problems if you want to switch back.
