Good afternoon

I dropped a Nexus 5 down the toilet - screen started going mad and eventually went black. Managed to hook up to a PC and removed photographs. Left to dry for a number of days and charged phone again. Phone appear to be on as it goes from black to lit black and I had notification sounds and can use volume buttons and volume up/down sounds still occur - so phone definitely still working - but screen just a lit black.

Opened up the back and the big water damage sticker is red. Haven't gone further into phone and assume the connector to screen is damaged.

Can you advise if I can fix or where I should investigate now?

Many thanks

Hannah

I work at a uBreakiFix store which takes water damaged devices in & attempts to fix them for $50. It doesn't always work, but it does sometimes. It's worth a shot if you're interested in keeping the phone still.
