Nexus 5 front camera issue after changing the screen

So I dropped my phone last week and the screen cracked so I decided to have my screen( + display) changed.
The guy fixed it quickly and when I got my phone back I accessed the front camera and it was working, but when I arrived home I noticed that it wasn't working anymore. (Error- can't connect to camera) I disabled the camera app, I wiped the cache in recovery mode and I even installed other camera app to check if the front camera is really the problem... So, why did it work the first time I checked and then stopped working?

Also, I noticed that the touch screen isn't working that well...
Is it possible that the phone wasn't reassembled properly?

Are you sure that damage other than that to the screen was not caused by the impact?

Yes, I am absolutely sure, cause I was able to take pictures with my front camera after the screen broke, everything worked just fine...
I was thinking of doing a factory reset but I don't think that will work. Or perhaps I should try?

It's very frustrating cause I have a red Nexus 5, and the guy replaced my red frame with a black one.
