Hi All, I need to replace the battery in my 2 year old LG Nexus 5. Someone said there are two types of Nexus 5 and I need to make sure I get the right battery for my particular version of the Nexus 5. Has anyone else heard of this issue? How do I make sure I get the right battery for my particular version of the Nexus 5?

Or could this be wrong and there is only 1 type of Nexus 5 and only one type of battery? Just want to make sure.

I did some googling on this and didn't find anything definitive.

    Thanks,

    Welcome.

I haven't heard of that but I imagine that LG would be able to advise. First, check their support site for any references.

I made this post by accident when I thought I was logged in but really wasn't. The real post is at Different types of batteries for the Nexus 5? - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com Thanks.
