Is there a way to replace the "signal bars" in the top right of my screen with the actual signal strength in dBm? I know I can see the strength in dBm in settings but I would like to know if there is a way to quickly see it.

Maybe there's some module with that option. The easiest way could be creating a widget with Zooper.

I'm not aware of any mod that can replace the icon. Some ROMs can remove it, but I checked (on 3 different devices), CM, Pure Nexus, and Dirty Unicorns, and none of them have the ability to add the dBm in the status bar.

I know some apps can add it to the notification section of the status bar.

I never found a way to do it on Android so I use Network Signal Pro which gives a lot of other data, too. The app serves my need so I stopped looking for a solution. I use the widget but nothing in notification area.
