Put my VZW Sim from a Turbo into the N6. I did NOT edit the name of the device on Google Play. When I first activated, the N6 was listed as an "unnamed device". This AM, "VZW Motorola Nexus 6" appeared in my list. The original listing of the device remains in the dropdown.

Given the info on VZW N6 activation and the phone being unrecognized because the IMEI wasn't whitelisted yet, I thought this would be of interest, and that some of you can explain if it has any practical impact, such as locking down the phone.

The bloatware is there. I didn't look for it before this happened, so don't know if it occurred when I connected initially or with VZW's recognition. I can confirm, however, that 5.0 allows bloatware removal as advertised.......

It's possible that because it name from your Turbo, which does have bloatware, that it carried over into the Nexus 6. Good to know you can remove it.
