I keep seeing threads about battery life? Would 4 hours screen time get me through a whole day?
This was me yesterday after a mid-heavy day.
Screen was between 35-45%, mainly in email and a work application with a bit of Clash of Clans . I am running Pure Shamu with the Franco kernel, ambient display is off as is adaptive brightness.

Custom ROMs actually improve battery life more often than not. Especially if also using a custom kernelFirst point is it's a custom ROM, which could make it less efficient. Second, we don't know where you have your brightness, how many hours of screen time that was, or how cpu-intensive that 'work application' is, and there's no way of knowing if that is good or bad battery life without knowing those.
How bright is your screen?I really would like yo know how you guys can get 5 hours+ of SOT? The best I've gotten in about two weeks has been 3.5 hours, averaging right at 3 hours.
Honestly, the battery has been my biggest complaint. Frankly, my only complaint. But it is pretty frustrating. I'm a heavy user, living on my phone for work and I never get past 4pm.
I absolutely love everything else about this phone.

I wouldn't exactly call the battery life great.
