Motorola sent out notices that they will be sending a mystery box to different media outlets. Could this finally be it or will it be something completely different. The rumors were February 26th so it could make sense

I agree. No way would Motorola announce something for just one carrier. Especially when the phone is already out.

6 with larger battery? And ALOT of bloatware.

If that's the case, it would be released in May, which would corroborate the rumors that have been reported. I'd hope there would be a debloated Pure Edition released as well. A Nexus 6 with Moto features and a bigger battery? Sign me up. In fact, it would make sense that it would be a Motorola phablet; it would explain why Verizon hasn't gotten the actual Nexus 6 in stock.

I have a turbo now but would seriously consider switching for the extra screen size.

I have a 4,200 mAh extended battery in my S3 now, so the thought of a Pure Edition Motorola phablet with a rumored 4,000 mAh battery would do well for me to handle the only slight reduction in juice, as opposed to the 3,220 mAh battery in the Nexus 6. Plus Motorola implements Android the best, imho.

If Motorola releases a 5.5" Moto X at 1080P with a 3,000 mAh battery with front facing speakers, I'd consider it as well. Point is, if i don't like the landscape by May, it'll be the Nexus 6.

I agree. I can't see them going "Here's the Verizon Nexus 6! The same Nexus 6 from 4 months ago! But...with Verizon...stuff...and...a LOGO!" I do hope it's a phone though.

I'd tend to think Google would do the announcing as well, not Moto.

I don't think this will be a Verizon nexus announcement I am thinking a new wearable like a fitness band or something since they are sending this out to all of these folks to review
