I have a Microsoft Display Adapter on my tv. Previously I was able to screen cast of my Samsung Note 4 to the MDA w/o any problems. Now that I have moved to a Nexus 6 they do not seem to locate each other. I really thought, being clean Android, that if anything I'd have a quicker, easier connect and stream but that isn't the case.

Has anyone played around with an MDA and gotten it to work? I just bought a Chromecast which should work, if not, I might have a flaw with the phone, but I doubt that.

Now, as I know this will be asked, I tried the cast screen off the drop down, but my gut tells me that is for chromecast specifically. I've tried, unsuccessfully, numerous apps without success.

    Thank you.

That's BC the Samsung supports WiFi direct.. Your going to have to go into your WiFi settings and see about a wifidirect connection in advanced... Or you could get a chrome cast.. I love my chrome cast!! I can cast it all or YouTube Netflix..
