I often ship Nexus 6 devices to events and even though automatic date & time and automatic time zone are off, my calendar is reverting to 1969. How can I ensure this stops happening?

Interesting, but little step back. If you looking by year, it was big time, with big things. 1969 - first Unix by Bells and AT&T. It is all Unix, Unix-like beging.

This only happens when there is no connection to a service of either the cell or WiFi kind. Then if the phone is restarted or powered down the next time it will show the odd year.... Not sure how to fix it but I have notice this is the cause
