Yes, I've noticed the same connection problem with my N6. At home, I've noticed that bluetooth interferes with the switch from LTE to WiFi: if I forget to turn BT off when I get out of my car, the phone often will not switch over to WiFi at all. I've noticed a similar kind of lag showing up on campus, too. The university WiFi signal is solid inside most campus buildings, but it's too weak to be useful outdoors. Walking from building to building evidently gives the phone the agita, and it holds onto LTE for dear life unless I force the issue.
I've been assuming the problem is related to my being in an "excellent" LTE coverage area: my LTE signal is almost always at 100%, unless I'm in a basement (where it blows) or deep inside a relatively large building.
